What made you choose the Skeppsholm Group and how has your journey here been so far? – I was attracted to the Skeppsholm Group for several reasons. Firstly, the scenic location, combined with the proximity to the city’s pulse, absolutely outstanding. It’s a product I’m really proud of and passionate about.
For me, it is important to measure the passion coefficient of the product you represent and for me it is extremely high when it comes to Skeppsholmen and our offers. There is clearly something wonderful happening in the body when you cross the bridge to this fantastic place.
I fell in love with the place and the people here already at the first interview. The incredibly driven and creative entrepreneurs who own the company, Elin & Matilda. Their commitment, competence and drive, together with the wonderful humor and warmth they convey, made the choice very easy.
My journey at Skeppsholmsgruppen has been incredibly exciting so far. As the first employee of the company in January 2022, it has been a breathtaking journey on the five-speed gear, even in the curves. The company and the organization have developed enormously, and we have a wonderful journey ahead of us. My role is as a salesperson in the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events).
Can you share some of the most memorable moments or events you have experienced during your time at Skeppsholmsgruppen?
– I have really had the privilege to be involved in many memorable moments. I find my work tasks incredibly rewarding.
Having a job that is so varied means that many fun events and memories are created every day. I work with sales, viewings, needs analysis and preparing offers.
In my role, I follow the entire sales process and it’s great fun. One area that I am particularly passionate about is event companies and being a resource for them.
What qualities and skills do you consider most valuable to succeed in your role at Skeppsholmsgruppen?
– In my role, it is crucial to have experience in the industry. With 25 years of experience in the events and hospitality industry, I have a solid foundation.
I have had the privilege of working with fantastic companies and concept hotels, such as Icehotel and The Winery Hotel. Really exciting products and I have taken a lot of knowledge from the well-managed and inspiring brands.
A former boss taught me to create, sell and implement anything I wanted and believed in, he often said; “If we don’t have it, we create it” this is something that has stayed in my mind, no matter what I have worked on – nothing is impossible!
My role here is about understanding and communicating our value to our customers, and to do that you need to have a lot of experience in the industry and a passion for it. I believe this is what enables me to truly understand and meet our customers’ needs.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
– A typical working day can be very varied and that’s what makes it so exciting. From tours of our stunning facilities to seeing our clients’ visions come to life, it’s something special.
Skeppsholmsgruppen emphasizes the importance of creating memorable experiences for customers. Can you share a story where you and your team managed to exceed customer expectations?
-A memorable moment was when we organized a customer activity on board the brig Tre Kronor af Stockholm, which is part of our product portfolio.
It was great to be part of the creation and execution of this event. Seeing our customers enjoying the moment while we got to present our offer and products was perfect.

How do you see the future of the Skeppsholm Group?
I see a bright future for the Skeppsholm Group. I am convinced that we will continue to increase our brand awareness and take more market share.
During the year, we have worked hard to strengthen our brand and increase our visibility. We are also hiring new staff and will soon be strengthening our sales organization.
With our unique and high-quality offer, together with a strong passion and expertise, we are well equipped for the future.
We will also look beyond Sweden’s borders and aim to attract more international guests. Our goal is to showcase our great capital through events in the heart of the city. We are a passionate and close-knit group, ready to take on the future. I always carry my favorite quote in the back of my mind; “When you reach the top of the mountain keep going ‘up’ ” (Ulf Lundell).
