Welcome to an evening in one of Stockholm’s most atmospheric concert halls. During Kulturnatt Stockholm, Eric Ericsonhallen opens its doors for a program filled with music, dance and history – with free admission all evening.
Open April 26, 2025 – 18.00-02.00 – free entrance all evening
Address: Kyrkslingan 2-4, nearest subway: Kungsträdgården
NOTE: No bags allowed due to the police bag ban.
A program that moves between tradition and innovation
The evening starts with choral singing and vocal experiments – from Vocal Brand and Stockholms Flickkör, to Röstjärn and the playful Roliga Sångförsöket.
The male choir Sångsällskapet Nio Sångare från Visby and Gränslösa Röster follow, before Eric Ericson’s Chamber Choir takes its place.
Lindans, grand piano and drama
At 21:10 it’s time to look up as Klara Mossberg performs a poetic tightrope walk in the room. Afterwards, pianist Roland Pöntinen offers an exclusive concert at the grand piano.
At 22:30, the focus shifts to history – with a dramatic account of Stockholm’s bloodbath in the feature ‘Historical wings’.
The evening ends with music and dancing
Shortly after 23:00, the Saskia Quartet will perform interpretations of Cornelis Vreeswijk and music from their new album “Inspiration to open your eyes”.
When the clock strikes midnight, the hall is transformed into a dance floor. DJ Julian Artur is behind the turntables – from the pulpit – and keeps the mood alive until 02:00.
