The glass veranda
The venue is located in the old Mindepartementet on Skeppsholmen, a 5-minute walk from Grand Hotell. The view of the water and Strandvägen is magnificent from the large windows where the light floods in. The entrance is a beautiful old glass veranda. There is space for a welcome meal and the veranda also serves as a social area after dinner. Outside there is a leafy grove with garden furniture, where you can cool off.
The glass veranda is the stage for dancing for much of the year. The venue is rented exclusively for a few weeks each summer, and is ideal for weddings, parties, trade fairs, launches and training events, as well as yoga/meditation.
If you want to book a separate room for dancing after dinner, there is Galeasen’s fantastic stage room, we are happy to show you around! Regular opening hours until 01.00. Extension until 03.00 is at extra cost.

Catering is booked through us. We work with skilled suppliers and offer both ready-made menus and the possibility of tailor-made dinners.
Beverage
Drinks are provided by the catering service, which offers affordable drink packages and can be paid for after dinner if desired.
Entertainment
We are happy to help with this, as we have no neighbors, you can keep the dance floor going until the wee hours.
